The Blessing Api Apum Foundation visited STARALEX SCHOOL COMPLEX at JEI-KRODUA area in the AWUTU-SENYA DISTRICT

The Blessing Api Apum Foundation visited STARALEX SCHOOL COMPLEX at JEI-KRODUA area in the AWUTU-SENYA DISTRICT of the central region of Ghana. The visit was led by our CEO Madam Blessing Membere and her deputy and some volunteers.
The visit to the school is part of our cooperate social responsibility as an NGO.

The school has little or no basic amenities such as toilet for both students and teaching staff, class rooms have no windows, teachers still writing on concrete wall boards, overcrowded class with over 30 students in a class.

The school has a student population of about 235, ranging from KG1 to upper class 6.
We are appealing to cooperate Ghana, donor groups etc to come to the rescue of this school which is doing everything possible to give the children a future. As a matter of emergency BAAF is building a two-unit toilet facility to help stop:

  1. Open deification in and around the school
  2. Stop the spread of common diseases
  3. Create a better learning environment
  4. Build confidence of the students
  5. Create a health competition between them and other students of the same class in urber areas.
